MapAction Supporters Newsletter January-December 2013

Last year, we deployed to emergencies in Syria, Central African Republic, Myanmar, India (twice), Sudan, and of course, the Philippines. In many ways our response to Typhoon Haiyan exemplified the agility and flexibility of our humanitarian mapping service, which enabled us to deliver when it mattered most. You can read more in the enclosed newsletter. Other highlights of 2013 included Prince Harry launching our new ambassador programme and important technical developments with our web mapping capabilities. As you will read, MapAction has ambitious targets to double its capacity in the coming five years. If you would like help us on this exciting journey by making a regular gift, please visit www.mapaction.org/donate. A gift of £10 per month – the equivalent cost of a cup of coffee each week – makes a huge difference to a small charity like ours. With your help, we will help to save even more lives.
